OB6220 is a stereo Class-D audio power amplifier driving 8ohm speakers in a bridge-tied load configuration for up to 15W power output at each channel. It achieves up to 90% power efficiency.

The gain of the amplifier is programmable at 20, 26, 32 or 36dB with two gain selection pins.

OB6220 provides comprehensive IC and system level protection features including speaker terminal short circuit protection, IC over temperature protection, power supply over voltage and under voltage protection, etc. The short circuit protection and thermal protection are auto-recoverable.

Speaker protection circuitry includes an adjustable power limiter and a DC detection function.

OB6220 is offered in TSSOP28 package with built-in thermal pad for improved power dissipation.
